Schools need an inclusive approach to learning and achievement that strengthens personal development and promotes democratic skills and participation. This includes the experience of understanding ambiguities, working together on the sustainability of solutions and being assessed fairly in examinations. In this impulse, the Schiller School Bochum and the German European School Singapore report on their innovative approaches to a modern examination culture.

The Robert Bosch Stiftung cordially invites you to its impulse „How democratic can exam culture be?” in cooperation with the Schiller School Bochum and the German European School Singapore. Silvia-Iris Beutel, Professor of School Pedagogy and General Didactics at the Technical University of Dortmund, will lead through the digital event.

At a time when schools need an inclusive concept of learning and performance that strengthens the personal development of all and promotes democratic skills and participation, the event seeks answers to the question: What can an examination culture look like that takes these aspects into account?
